Remote Ubuntu 22.04 Installation

  1. Navigate to the EA page, and check the box to agree to the EULA.

  2. In the Application Files section, select the zip folder for Ubuntu 22.04 that matches the ARCH of the remote system and download it.

  3. Move the zip folder from your local system to the remote system. For example, you can use the following scp command but you may need to adjust it to include an SSH key.

    scp /file/to/send username@remote:/where/to/put


  4. In your Terminal unzip the downloaded file into the current working directory, using the command below.

    unzip os-arch.zip -d .

    Where os-arch is the OS and arch you selected. For example, linux-amd64.zip.

  5. To get started, open a new terminal session and run the install script:

    bash ./install.sh

    Note

    The archive contains the NVIDIA AI Workbench CLI EA1 distribution.


  6. If the system has an NVIDIA GPU but no drivers are installed, you can select to have AI Workbench install the latest drivers for you.

  7. After installation is completed, be sure to restart your terminal session before running any nvwb command.
