AI Workbench currently supports a Gitlab.com integration for accessing private repositories, container images, and the ability to publish Projects.
You can use both an OAuth flow or Personal Access Token to authenticate with Gitlab.com.
When creating a PAT, you must assign the following scopes:

AI Workbench creates repositories and pushes on your behalf, based on your actions (i.e. clicking the publish or sync buttons). This includes to your private repositories. With Gitlab PATs, There is no other finer grain option that allows write access to create new repositories on your behalf.
