Environment variables#

LIBMATHDX_LOG_LEVEL

Type: int.

Values:

  • 0 - Off - logging is disabled (default)

  • 1 - Error - only errors will be logged

  • 2 - Trace - traces

  • 3 - Hints - hints that can potentially improve the application’s performance

  • 4 - Info - provides general information about the library execution

  • 5 - API Trace - API calls will log their parameter and important information

LIBMATHDX_LOG_MASK

Type: int.

Values: a <mask> where <mask> is a combination of

  • 0 - Off

  • 1 - Error

  • 2 - Trace

  • 4 - Hints

  • 8 - Info

  • 16 - API Trace

For example, use LIBMATHDX_LOG_MASK=5 to enable Error and Hints messages.

LIBMATHDX_LOG_FILE

Type: A string.

Values: <file_name>, where <file_name> is a path to a logging file. The file name may contain %i, which will be replaced with the process ID. For example file_name_%i.log

Send logs to a file.

LIBMATHDX_DUMP_FILENAME

Type: A string.

Values: <file_name>.

Dump source code (.cu) and compiled code (PTX, LTOIR, etc) to <file_name>.<extension>.

LIBMATHDX_TRACE_FILENAME

Type: A string.

Values: <file_name>, where <file_name> is a path to where NVRTC traces will be dumped to.

LIBMATHDX_ENABLE_PCH

Type: bool.

Values: If set, enables automatic PCH in NVRTC.

LIBMATHDX_NVRTC_ARGS_OVERWRITE

Type: A string.

Values: If set, interpreted as a list of strings (using newline as separators) which will be passed as arguments to NVRTC, overwriting all normal arguments, including -dlto, –relocatable-device-code=true and –gpu-architecture=compute_<sm>.

LIBMATHDX_NVRTC_ARGS_EXTRA

Type: A string.

Values: If set, interpreted as a list of strings (using newline as separators) which will be passed as extra arguments to NVRTC.

LIBMATHDX_NVRTC_NO_SUPPRESSIONS

Type: A string.

Values: If set to any non-empty value, disables default NVRTC warning suppression for unused variables and deprecations.

LIBMATHDX_TMPDIR

Type: A string.

Values: <directory>, where <directory> is the directory used for NVRTC bundled-header temporary files. When unset, the OS temporary directory is used.
