ExternalSource operator

In this example, we will see how to use ExternalSource operator, that allows us to use an external data source as an input to the Pipeline.

In order to achieve that, we have to define a Iterator or Generator class which next function will return one or several numpy arrays.

Defining the pipeline

The next step is to define the Pipeline.

We override Pipeline.iter_setup, a method called by the pipeline before every Pipeline.run, to call the iterator and feed the result to ExternalSource() operator, referenced by self.jpeg, by using feed_input.

Notice that labels are still on CPU and no as_cpu call is needed to show them.
