# Tenant

Tenant is the anchor entity for an organization that consumes Network and Compute resources on a Site.

Deprecation history:

- `capabilities.targetedInstanceCreation` was deprecated in favor of `tenantAccount.siteCapabilities` and will be removed on October 1st, 2026 0:00 UTC. The value returned on GET `/tenant/current` is computed from Ready Tenant Account configuration; embedded `TenantSummary.capabilities` in nested resources always omits the property, so it serializes as `{}`.
