JetPack 6.1 Release Notes

New Features

NVIDIA JetPack 6.1 is the latest production release of JetPack 6. It includes Jetson Linux 36.4 with Linux Kernel 5.15 and an Ubuntu 22.04 based root file system. The Jetson AI stack packaged with this release incorporates CUDA 12.6, TensorRT 10.3, cuDNN 9.3, VPI 3.2, DLA 3.1, and DLFW 24.0.

JetPack 6.1 supports all NVIDIA Jetson Orin modules and developer kits and introduces novel features, such as the flexibility to run any upstream Linux Kernel greater than 5.14, and expanded choices of Linux distro options on Jetson. Additionally, the enhanced Argus library reduces CPU utilization by up to 40%, optimizing vision applications, and the Firmware-based Trusted Platform Module (fTPM) on the Jetson Orin platform enhances system security.

Highlights:
