# Update Job Attempt Status Details

## Request

### Path parameters

- `job` (string, required)
- `attempt` (string, required)
- `workspace` (string, required)

### Query parameters

- `expected_step_id` (string, optional) — Update only while this step is in this attempt and the attempt is the job's current one.
- `expected_step_status` (enum, optional) — With expected_step_id, update only while the step has this status.
  - Allowed values: `created`, `queued`, `pending`, `active`, `cancelled`, `cancelling`, `error`, `completed`, `paused`, `pausing`, `resuming`
