# Kimi-VL-A3B-Instruct

> Use Kimi-VL-A3B-Instruct with NeMo AutoModel for vision-language fine-tuning, with documented checkpoints, runnable recipes, setup guidance, and model reference details.

[Kimi-VL](https://huggingface.co/moonshotai/Kimi-VL-A3B-Instruct) and Kimi-K25-VL are vision language models from Moonshot AI. Kimi-VL-A3B uses a MoE language backbone (3B active parameters) with a vision encoder, supporting image understanding and multimodal reasoning.

Set up NeMo AutoModel with the [latest container](https://catalog.ngc.nvidia.com/orgs/nvidia/containers/nemo-automodel) or follow the [installation instructions](/get-started/installation).

## Fine-Tune Kimi-VL-A3B-Instruct

From the repository root, run:

```
