About Observability

NeMo Retriever Embedding NIM exposes metrics in Prometheus format. You can access these metrics through the NIM API at <nim-host>:8000/v1/metrics.

Currently, there is no support for OpenTelemetry (OTEL). NeMo Retriever Embedding NIM doesn’t export metrics or traces in an OpenTelemetry format.
