You have two options for customizing avatars in the Unreal Renderer Microservice: MetaHuman avatars and the Aki avatar. For integrating your own MetaHuman, follow the steps outlined in the Custom Avatar: MetaHuman section. If you want to work with the reference project featuring the Aki avatar, refer to the Reference Avatar: Aki section.

Ultimately, your are not limited to these options, but you can use the vast capabilities of the Unreal Editor to import and customize almost any 3D character asset.
