NVIDIA Optimized TensorFlow 2 Containers - Deprecation Notice#

NVIDIA Optimized TensorFlow 2 container images will reach End of Life (EOL) according to the following schedule:

  • Feature Branch: The TensorFlow 2 24.02 release (February 2025) is the final update.

  • Production Branch: October 2024 Production Branch (24h2) will receive monthly security updates until June 2025.

  • End of Support: As of July 25, 2025, TensorFlow 2 containers will no longer be supported within NVIDIA AI Enterprise.

Recommendations

  • Transition to alternative solutions such as JAX with Keras. Refer to the NVIDIA JAX Toolbox for guidance on JAX and NGC Catalog for using other supported frameworks within NVIDIA AI Enterprise.
