Release information for all users of NVIDIA Quadro Virtual Workstation on Google Cloud Platform.

1. Release Notes

These Release Notes summarize current status, information on validated platforms, and known issues with NVIDIA® Quadro® Virtual Workstation on Google Cloud Platform.

2. Validated Platforms

Quadro Virtual Workstation supports NVIDIA GPUs with several Google Cloud Platform images and guest operating systems.

2.1. Supported Google Cloud Platform Machine Types

This release of Quadro Virtual Workstation is supported with the following Google Cloud Platform machine types:

  • Any predefined machine type
  • Any custom machine type that can be created in a zone

The following NVIDIA GPUs in GPU pass through mode are supported:

  • NVIDIA P4
  • NVIDIA P100
  • NVIDIA T4
  • NVIDIA V100

2.2. Guest OS Support

Quadro Virtual Workstation is available on Google Cloud Platform images preconfigured with a choice of 64-bit Windows releases and Linux distributions as a guest OS.

Windows Guest OS Support

Quadro Virtual Workstation is available on Google Cloud Platform VMs preconfigured only with following 64-bit Windows releases as a guest OS:

If a specific release, even an update release, is not listed, it’s not supported.

  • Windows Server 2019
  • Windows Server 2016

2.2.2. Linux Guest OS Support

Quadro Virtual Workstation is available on Google Cloud Platform VMs preconfigured only with the following Linux releases as a guest OS:
