NeMo Helix v0.9.1 is a patch release for the 0.9 release line that keeps wheel installations on a Kubernetes Python client version compatible with the Jobs service. It includes all changes in v0.9.0.

What’s fixed

• Kubernetes client compatibility for wheel installs. The nemo-helix package extras that include the Jobs service, the nhx-common package, and the Jobs service now require the Kubernetes Python client >=30.1.0,<37. Kubernetes client 37 changes ApiClient.deserialize, which the Jobs Kubernetes backend uses to build Kubernetes objects. The CI wheel-install constraints now pin the client to 36.0.3, matching the version locked for source checkouts. (documentation not yet available)

Upgrade from v0.9.0

No configuration changes are required. Installing or upgrading the v0.9.1 wheels resolves the Kubernetes Python client to a version below 37. For upgrades from the 0.8 release line, follow the “Upgrade from v0.8.x” section of the v0.9.0 release notes.
