Introduction
IBM Power servers and Storage systems address next-generation business challenges, offering enterprises an optimal approach to meet the technology needs of companies that operate from massive data centers to small enterprises for hybrid and multi-cloud, plus scale out and scale up servers and storage for a wide variety of mixed workloads.
IBM offers a wide range of NVIDIA Ethernet switches at 1GbE with up to 48 ports, 10/25|40/100 GbE with 48/8 ports, 40/100 GbE with 32 ports, and NVIDIA InfiniBand switches at EDR with 36 ports, and HDR with 40 ports. Connectivity is provided by NVIDIA ConnectX-4 Lx, ConnectX-5, ConnectX-6, and ConnectX-6 Dx adapter cards, providing IBM customers the ability to run either 10/25/40/100 GbE or 100/200 Gb/s InfiniBand.
These switches and adapters enable extreme computing, real-time response, I/O consolidation, and power savings for cloud computing, big data, modern HPC, data analytics, storage, artificial intelligence (AI), and deep learning application environments.
