CPU#
NIM for BMD requires an x86 processor. A modern processor is recommended for optimal performance.

Minimum requirements#
8 GB GPU memory
CUDA compute capability >= 8.0
Any NVIDIA GPU meeting these requirements should work. Performance varies depending on the GPU model. Refer to Performance for benchmark results on specific GPUs.
Software#
NVIDIA Driver#
Refer to the Frameworks Support Matrix for NVIDIA driver support. Ensure that the latest compatible NVIDIA driver is installed on your system before launching NIM containers.
NVIDIA Container Toolkit#
Your Docker environment must support NVIDIA GPUs. For more information, refer to the NVIDIA Container Toolkit documentation.
