Release Notes

NVIDIA SDK Manager 0.9 Beta 12

What's New

  • This is a beta release of NVIDIA SDK Manager; all issues may not yet be documented.

  • Added the option to change the install location of the target hardware image on the host machine.

  • Different target hardware images of the same SDK are now installed in different locations on the host machine.

  • Added support to set the periodicity to trigger the SDK Manager check for update mechanism.

  • In the Proxy Settings dialog, there is now an option to use a system proxy configuration for network access.

  • Users can now uninstall the whole SDK on a host and multiple targets via the Manage NVIDIA SDKs page.

  • File download speed has significantly improved.

    • Download speed for a single file has improved for developer.nvidia.com users.

    • The maximum concurrent file download count has increased from 3 to 16.

Known Issues

  • Some SDK components may have conflicts that cause an installation error when another release is already installed. If this occurs, please uninstall the previously installed SDK, then install the new version.

  • During the download process, clicking Pause and Resume may cause a component to restart the downloading process.

  • The install location cannot be modified. The components downloaded by SDK Manager are installed on the host system volume drive.

  • X Forwarding is not currently supported.

  • When running a command-line installation, SDK components will not be installed on the target device after flashing.

  • If running a command-line silent install with a small terminal window, or if the terminal window is resized while the install is running, the output characters may appear unformatted. To avoid this, run the install from a regular-size (or larger) terminal window.
