Installation#
Installation covers the first two steps of Deploying DPS, which describes the full sequence from a Kubernetes cluster to enforced power policies.
Deploy and configure DPS - Select matching release artifacts, check platform and firmware requirements, prepare security and storage, install with Helm, verify with
dpsctl, and plan upgrades or recoveryTo choose CPU, memory, and storage resources, refer to System Requirements
To select and configure the server’s authentication mode, refer to Configure Server Authentication
To sign in through the UI or CLI, refer to Sign In to DPS
For network-isolated environments, refer to Air-Gapped Deployment
To route Redfish traffic through a proxy, refer to Redfish Proxy Configuration
To scrape
dps-servermetrics with Prometheus, refer to Prometheus Monitoring
Install dpsctl - Install the command-line client for administration
With DPS installed, continue with modelling your topology, validating and importing it, and configuring power policies. Refer to Deploying DPS for those steps, and to Import a Topology for the import procedure itself.
If installation or the first login fails, refer to Troubleshooting.
