Cable Support Load Distribution

Key calculation points:

• Structural load. The engineered maximum load that the ceiling support structure can carry.

• Engineered point load. The overhead connection point that the trapeze is hung from.

• Tray segment load. The manufacturers specification how much weight can be supported per segment.

• Tray splice joint load. The manufactures specification on how much weight the mechanical splice can support.

• Tray span load. The manufactures specification on how much weight can be supported across multiple spans.
