Networking Hardware#

Given the East/West and North/South networking needs described previously, along with out-of-band management (OOB) requirements, this section details the specific networking hardware components that are used in this Enterprise RA

NVIDIA BlueField-3 B3140H SuperNIC#

The BlueField-3 B3140H SuperNIC with a single 400 GbE port (Figure 4) is used in the compute (E/W) fabric.

NVIDIA BlueField-3 B3220 DPU#

The NVIDIA BlueField-3 B3220 DPU with two 200 GbE ports (Figure 5) are used in the converged in-band management and storage (N/S) fabric. This Enterprise RA uses dual port DPUs for the best performance and flexibility.
