Attach parts D and E (x2 of each) to the switch. Push the switch chassis' pins through the slider key holes, until locking occurs. Pay attention to the rack's type.

Install 8 cage nuts (B) in the desired 1U slots of the rack.

Do not tighten the screws yet.

Tighten all M6 screws (C) with a torque of 4.5±0.5.

* It may take up to five minutes to turn on the system. If the System Status LED shows amber after five minutes, unplug the system and contact your NVIDIA representative.

Before installing the switch system, make sure an over-current DC circuit breaker of up to 100A is installed at the rack.

Connect the DC power supplies in the switch according to the following recommendations:

  1. Make sure circuit breakers are in their “Off” state.

  2. Ground the PSU with a 14 AWG wire.

  3. Using an 8 AWG wire for the power feed, unscrew the screws on the DC PSU terminals, connect the DC power cord lugs, and tighten the screws.

  4. Repeat all steps for secondary PSU.

  5. Turn on the switch by switching the circuit breaker to the “On” position for both PSUs.

  1. Connect the host PC to the Console (RJ-45) port.

  2. Configure a serial terminal program.

    3. Cumulus: By default, the MGMT port will acquire the IP from DHCP. You can cross reference the MAC of the switch with your DHCP server (MAC can be found on switch label) or using "ifconfig eth0" (when using MGMT0).
