How does Kumo handle timestamp time zones?

Use UTC consistently for source timestamps and prediction boundaries.

Pass prediction_time as a timezone-naive Python datetime representing UTC. Timezone-aware values are rejected. Supplied temporal prediction rows use timezone-naive UTC Arrow timestamps. Convert local times to UTC before removing timezone information.

The prediction time is the anchor for the task’s time windows. It is separate from the time the scoring job starts. See Select the Population and Timestamp Metadata.
