Installation and Setup

Prerequisites

Before setting up the HSB Native Latency Measurement Tool, ensure you have completed the standard Holoscan Sensor Bridge setup as described in the HSB documentation.

Step 1: Complete HSB Base Setup

Follow the HSB documentation for:

1. Device Setup - Install HSB hardware and verify FPGA detection
2. Host Setup - Configure the host system with required drivers and dependencies
3. Build HSB Container - Set up the Holoscan Sensor Bridge demo container
4. Verify Examples - Run basic HSB examples (IMX274 player, VB1940 player) to confirm functionality

Step 2: Hardware Configuration for Latency Measurement

Configure the GPIO connections with LED and photodetector as shown in Hardware Component Schematics.
