Introduction

The NVIDIA IGX Orin™ Boards Kit is an industrial-grade edge AI platform that delivers high performance, advanced functional safety, and security. Purpose-built for industrial and medical environments, NVIDIA IGX Orin enables organizations to deliver confidentially AI safely and securely to support human and machine collaboration.

The NVIDIA IGX Orin Boards Kit has interface connectors on the back panel. They are as follows:

• 4x USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A connector

• 1x USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C connector

• 2x 100GbE QSFP28

• 2x RJ45 Ethernet ports

• 2x Audio jacks

• VESA® DisplayPort™ (output) for display

Additionally, the boards kit has multiple connectors for further expansion, including SATA, M.2 and two PCIe Gen5 slots (1 x8 and 1 x16).

The NVIDIA IGX Orin Boards Kit consists of a motherboard (micro ATX form factor), NVIDIA IGX Orin Industrial Module, and NVIDIA BMC Module. Thermal solution and other devices are not provided.
