NVIDIA AI Enterprise - From Open Source Innovation to Mission-Ready AI#
NVIDIA AI Enterprise is the software platform that bridges the power of open-source innovation with the stringent security, stability, and support requirements of enterprise and government deployments. We begin with a core of industry-standard open-source technologies and enhance them to deliver an enterprise-grade platform for mission-critical AI.
The NVIDIA AI Enterprise portfolio delivers this value across four key software areas built upon this enhanced open-source core:
Enterprise AI Runtimes: We provide a secure, high-performance execution environment with enterprise-grade components like supported inference servers, optimized container runtimes, and virtualization drivers, ensuring your AI workloads run reliably and efficiently.
Accelerated SDKs: We offer a suite of optimized and supported Software Development Kits (SDKs) and AI frameworks in enterprise-grade containers. This allows your teams to build and customize AI solutions faster, using tools that are performance-tuned and hardened for production.
Infrastructure Software: We provide the essential, hardware-aware components to support AI workloads on accelerated systems. It includes NVIDIA drivers, Kubernetes operators for GPUs and networking, and cluster management tools. These components have dedicated support and maintenance lifecycles to ensure robust production stability at scale.
Production-Ready APIs: To accelerate development, we provide a catalog of pre-built AI microservices and APIs (NVIDIA NIM™). These production-ready services for language, vision, and speech AI allow you to integrate sophisticated capabilities directly into your applications with reduced development overhead.
Underpinning this entire software stack is a commitment to enterprise-grade security and lifecycle management. NVIDIA provides signed containers to verify authenticity, along with a comprehensive Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) in CycloneDX format and Vulnerability Exploitability eXchange (VEX) documentation to provide clear artifact transparency.
To meet diverse development and deployment cadences, NVIDIA AI Enterprise offers flexible branches for application development software, each with a defined lifecycle and patch policy:
Production Branch: Ideal for most production deployments, with releases every 6 months, a 9-month lifecycle, and monthly CVE patches while maintaining API stability. Production Branch 25H2 and subsequent releases will be the distribution channel for government-ready software.
Feature Branch: For fast-moving development teams that need the latest features, with monthly software updates.
Long-Term Support (LTS) Branch: Recommended for highly regulated or static environments with a support lifecycle of up to 3 years.
NVIDIA AI Enterprise offers a robust suite of AI microservices - NIM, for production grade inference and model deployment. NIM integrates optimized inference engines such as Triton Inference Server, vLLM, and TensorRT-LLM, with compatibility extending to frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and ONNX. Providing unified APIs and runtime isolation, these microservices support flexible deployment across cloud, data centers, and edge environments. The Multi-LLM NIM allows agencies and enterprises to load their own trusted model weights and run them in a protected NIM container, so organizations benefit from consistent runtime protections, monitoring, and operational controls while offering access to the rich and growing ecosystem of community and open source model architectures.
Nemotron models, included within NVIDIA AI Enterprise, are built specifically for demanding reasoning, summarization, and spatial tasks. Supporting generative and agentic AI, these models enable agencies to innovate, prototype, and deploy new AI capabilities with confidence that each step—from model creation, through training, to inference—preserves strict compliance and security requirements for mission critical applications.
Government Ready and Secure#
To directly address the needs of the most demanding environments, a selection of NVIDIA AI Enterprise software has achieved a significant new security baseline, termed government ready. This designation indicates that the software meets the applicable software-oriented security requirements for use within a customer’s FedRAMP High or equivalent Sovereign boundary. By leveraging this secure, performant foundation in concert with a robust partner ecosystem, customers federal decision-makers can confidently harness the power of AI to achieve their goals/mission objectives faster and more securely.
This milestone has been achieved through a Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) that incorporates applicable controls consistent with multiple, rigorous frameworks, and regulations including:
