Storage Solutions#
A key component of the Enterprise AI Factory is its storage solution. Given the continuous and high volume data flow required throughout the AI development and deployment lifecycle, the storage infrastructure can easily become a performance bottleneck if not designed to meet these intensive demands. The NVIDIA-Certified Storage program addresses this challenge by validating partner solutions that meet the high throughput, low latency, and scalability needs of AI workloads such as training, inference, retrieval augmented generation, and vector database operations. Certified storage ensures efficient data movement between compute and network resources, enabling seamless access to large datasets and model weights while preserving reliability and availability across distributed environments.
The NVIDIA-Certified Storage program provides a comprehensive validation framework that ensures AI storage platforms adhere to performance, quality, and interoperability standards. Partner solutions undergo extensive functional and performance testing to guarantee predictable deployment, energy efficiency, and operational consistency for end-to-end AI factories. NVCS certifications integrate with NVIDIA Enterprise Reference Architectures, aligning with validated compute and networking designs to promote balanced system performance. The program offers three certification levels—Foundation, Enterprise, and NCP—each providing progressively advanced assurance for deployment at different AI scales and complexity levels.
The NVIDIA-Certified Storage program will be extended to include the NVIDIA AI Data Platform (AIDP) certification. AIDP is an NVIDIA reference design, developed in collaboration with leading storage partners, that integrates enterprise storage with accelerated computing while creating seamless connections between AI agents and valuable business data.
