This section provides high level guides for users to port from the prior Kernel version 5.10 from rel-35 releases, to the Kernel version 5.15 supported in this r36 release.

Device Tree Structure

The structure of the device tree has changed in rel-36. Details can be found in the adaptation guide:

Compiler Update

• The compiler has changed to Bootlin gcc 11.3.0 2022.08-1 aarch64 toolchain See the topic Jetson Linux Toolchain.

Carrier Board Customization Notes

• For Jetson AGX Orin, to modify display from the default DP to HDMI, see the topic Display Configuration And BringUp.

Minor Version Update

• Minor version update on the Kernel will be provided in the subsequent releases.
