Introduction
The NVIDIA® MMA2L20-AR 25Gb/s transceiver module is designed for optical communication applications and is compliant with the IEEE 802.3 standard for 25G Ethernet 25GBASE-LR, and backward compatible with 10G SFP+ pluggable.
The central wavelength is 1310 nm. The high-performance transmitter and high sensitivity PIN receiver provide superior performance for 25 Gigabit Ethernet applications with up to 10 km links and compliant to optical interface with IEEE802.3cc.
The MMA2L20 transceiver is designed with form factor, optical/electrical connection, and digital diagnostic interface according to the SFP28 Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) [1].
The transceiver’s electrical interface is compliant with the OSI CEI VSR-28G-VSR standard.
The transceiver is designed to meet the industrial standard operating conditions including temperature, humidity and EMI interference.
The optical connector is a duplex LC/UPC (un-angled) connector intended for a pair of single mode fibers.
