Connect to NVIDIA Brev and NGC#

Overview#

You should have the relevant accounts before connecting the integrations.

You can sign up for Brev as part of the connection flow. However, for NGC you need to enter an API key and this requires you to have a pre-existing account.

Key Concepts#

NVIDIA Brev

Cloud compute platform that provides remote GPU locations for AI Workbench projects. Integrates with AI Workbench to spin up and manage cloud-based development environments.

NVIDIA NGC

Enterprise platform for AI and digital twin workflows with container registry, model catalog, and build services. Provides access to NVIDIA-optimized containers and pretrained models.

Personal Key

NGC’s term for API Keys used to authenticate and access NGC services. Must be configured with specific service permissions (Catalog, Registry, Build).

Connect to Brev#

Step One: Open Settings and start the Brev connection.

  1. Select Gear Icon (Top Right) > Settings

  2. Select Settings > Integrations > Brev Card > Connect

Step Two: Enter your email and complete the authentication flow.

  1. Enter your email address

  2. Follow the prompts in your browser

  3. Wait for the integration to confirm

Success: The Brev card in Settings shows a connected status.

Connect to NGC#

Step One: Create a Personal Key on NGC.

  1. Log into NGC

  2. Navigate to Setup > Keys/Secrets > Generate API Key

  3. Select Generate Personal Key

Step Two: Configure the Personal Key settings.

  1. Enter a name for your key

  2. Set an expiration date

  3. Select the following services:

    • Catalog — Access to the NGC Catalog

    • Registry — Access to the NGC Container Registry

    • Build — Access to the NGC Build service

  4. Select Generate Personal Key

  5. Copy the generated key

Step Three: Add the Personal Key to AI Workbench.

  1. Select Gear Icon (Top Right) > Settings

  2. Select Settings > Integrations > NGC Card > Connect

  3. Paste your Personal Key

  4. Select Connect

Success: The NGC card in Settings shows a connected status.

Create an NVIDIA Account#

If you are creating an NVIDIA account for the first time, there are a few steps.

Any NVIDIA platform requires you to do a few things to get started.

Step One: Verify your email.

  1. Check your email for a confirmation code

  2. Enter the code to initiate account creation

Step Two: Create your account credentials.

  1. Set your account password

  2. Complete any required profile information

Step Three: Create your NVIDIA Cloud Account.

  1. Give your cloud account a name

  2. Accept any required terms

Step Four: Log in to finalize the Brev integration.

  1. Log in with your new NVIDIA account credentials

  2. The Brev integration will complete automatically
