Notes
  1. In pass-through mode, GPUs based on the Pascal architecture or Volta architecture support only 64-bit guest operating systems. No 32-bit guest operating systems are supported in pass-through mode for these GPUs.
    When configured for NVIDIA vGPU, GPUs based on the Volta architecture support only 64-bit Windows guest operating systems. No 32-bit Windows guest operating systems are supported for these GPUs when configured for NVIDIA vGPU.
  2. Not a complete list. Refer to vendor product documentation for complete support details.
  3. vSGA is supported only by Horizon.
  4. vSGA is not supported on Tesla V100, Tesla P100, and Tesla P100 12GB GPUs.
  5. ESXi 6.0 Update 3 is required for pass-through mode on GPUs based on the Pascal architecture.
  6. Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 are not supported in pass-through mode on GPUs based on the Pascal and Volta architectures.
  7. Only Tesla M6 is supported as the primary display device in a bare-metal deployment. All GPUs listed are supported as a secondary device in a bare-metal deployment.
  8. 32-bit Windows 10 is supported only on Tesla M6, Tesla M10, and Tesla M60 GPUs.
  9. vGPU is supported only on Red Hat Enterprise Linux with KVM 7.5 and RHV 4.2. All releases listed support pass-through mode.
  10. Red Hat Enterprise Linux with KVM 7.0 and 7.1 are supported only on Tesla M6, Tesla M10, and Tesla M60 GPUs.
  11. Red Hat Enterprise Linux with KVM and RHV support Windows guest operating systems only under specific Red Hat subscription programs. Client Windows guest operating systems are supported only on RHV. For details, see:
  12. GPU pass through on Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2, 32-bit Windows 10, and 32-bit Windows 8.1 is supported only on Tesla M6, Tesla M10, and Tesla M60 GPUs.
