Installation

Installation covers the first two steps of Deploying DPS, which describes the full sequence from a Kubernetes cluster to enforced power policies.

1. Deploy and configure DPS - Select matching release artifacts, check platform and firmware requirements, prepare security and storage, install with Helm, verify with dpsctl, and plan upgrades or recovery

   • For network-isolated environments, refer to Air-Gapped Deployment

   • To route Redfish traffic through a proxy, refer to Redfish Proxy Configuration

   • To scrape dps-server metrics with Prometheus, refer to Prometheus Monitoring

2. Install dpsctl - Install the command-line client for administration

With DPS installed, continue with modelling your topology, validating and importing it, and configuring power policies. Refer to Deploying DPS for those steps, and to Import a Topology for the import procedure itself.
