NVIDIA Dynamic Power Software (DPS)

NVIDIA® DSX MaxLPS brings together dynamic power management, workload optimization, and facilities and site design to maximize efficiency and utilization of fixed AI factory power envelopes. NVIDIA Dynamic Power Software (DPS) implements the dynamic power allocation control loop, coordinating available power across managed GPU and rack groups as workloads and operating conditions change.

DPS models the data center power topology and uses telemetry, resource groups, power budgets, and operator-defined policies to adjust allocations within the configured envelope.

Start with the DPS architecture and core concepts, then use the deployment, topology, policy, and operations guidance to configure and run the system. The DPS API, SDK, simulator, and pilot runbooks support integration development, testing, and pilot validation.

Developer Preview Notice

NVIDIA Dynamic Power Software is currently offered as a Developer Preview. The software may have limitations, may change significantly, and includes functionality that continues to be refined through testing and feedback. It should not be used in production environments except as part of an authorized collaboration.
