5T technology depends on the server configuration. BIOS setting, for example, can dramatically impact performance and results. The technology enables TDMA networking on top of a COTS server, to achieve the desired performance. It is required to tune some basic parameters of the server such as PCIe mode, memory mode, sleep mode etc.
Before installing anything on the server, it is recommended to tune the server to achieve best performance according to the instructions detailed in this NVIDIA Community post. Make sure that the configuration is persistent.
