Develop, Simulate, and Deploy Robot Intelligence With General Robotics#
Welcome to Develop, Simulate, and Deploy Robot Intelligence With General Robotics! In this module, we’ll take you through the end-to-end robotics development process using General Robotics’ GRID platform powered by NVIDIA Isaac Sim.
Robots hold massive potential to automate and scale difficult and repetitive tasks across industries and in our lives. Programming robots to conduct these tasks safely has historically been challenging, costly, and specialized. Robotics simulation enables developers to virtually train, test and validate robots in physics-based digital representations of the real world.
Starting with a fully functional robot simulation instance with a robot, sensor, AI model, and environment, you’ll create an end-to-end, functional robot solution to perform a task and combine your robot solution with several of the latest robot AI models. Finally, you’ll see how you can take your solution from GRID and deploy on a real robot.
Learning Objectives#
By the end of this module, you’ll be able to:
Initiate a fully functional robot simulation instance with robot, sensor, AI model, and environment.
Create an end to end, functional robot solution to perform a task.
Combine your robot solution with several of the latest robot AI models, run this AI solution through simulation, and improve performance.
Take a solution from GRID and see it deployed on a real robot.
Intro#
