Getting Started

Start here to bring up a first working system. Deploy perception and the Safety Core on real camera feeds, or run one of the simulation-based quick starts to exercise the closed loop without hardware.

Prerequisites collects the hardware, software, and NGC access requirements for every route below. Check it before you pick one.

Start withWhat it deploysWhen to choose it
Deploy AI PerceptionAI Perception (VSS Warehouse Blueprint) on live camerasYou are bringing up real camera feeds. It hands off to the Deployment Guide for the Safety Core install itself.
Deploy the Safety CoreSafety Core on an existing perception feedPerception is already publishing events and you want safety decisions on top of it. This is the shortest manual bring-up.
Software-in-the-Loop (SIL)Perception, Safety Core, and NVIDIA Isaac Sim as one closed loopYou want the full loop in simulation on a single host, without cameras. Choose the 2D or 3D perception profile there.
Hardware-in-the-Loop TestingThe same closed loop split across an x86 host and an NVIDIA IGX ThorYou want perception and the Safety Core running on the target hardware while the simulation drives them from a second host.
Agentic DeploymentWhichever profile you pick, installed for youA coding agent runs on the deployment host and you want it to perform the bring-up from a single prompt.
Deploy on NVIDIA BrevThe same single-host closed loop, on a cloud GPU instanceYou do not have a host that meets the requirements, or you want the instance, both repositories, and the bring-up handled for you.

The Deployment Guide covers running the Safety Core with Docker, from prerequisites to troubleshooting.
