Dpu Machine
A DPU (Data Processing Unit) is a programmable network device installed in a Machine that runs its own operating system, so NICo tracks each DPU as a Machine of its own alongside the host Machine it is attached to. NICo provisions the DPU and uses it to enforce network isolation and Machine trust for the host, including when that host moves between Tenants.
These endpoints are read-only and Site-scoped, reporting the DPU Machines that NICo Core discovered at the Site. A host Machine lists the DPUs attached to it in associatedDpuMachineIds, and dpuNetworkConfig is only populated when retrieving a single DPU Machine with includeNetworkConfig set to true. To re-provision a Machine’s DPUs, see the DPU Reprovision tag.
