OpenTelemetry Setup

Set up OpenTelemetry configurations to gain visibility into the operations and performance of the NeMo microservices.

You can configure the OpenTelemetry Collector in the values file to receive, process, and export telemetry data from the following NeMo microservices.

• NeMo Customizer

• NeMo Evaluator

• NeMo Guardrails

In the NeMo Microservices Helm Chart values.yaml file, each microservice section contains an opentelemetry-collector key that exposes OpenTelemetry Collector configurations. To enable this service, set <microservice-name>.opentelemetry-collector.enabled: true.
