Switching a Windows VM to MCDM mode unloads the guest driver

Description

On XenServer, the guest driver in a Windows VM is unloaded after the VM is switched to the Microsoft Compute Driver Model (MCDM) and restarted. The VM desktop becomes inaccessible. The VM can be accessed again after the vGPU is removed from the VM.

Workaround

Use the Tesla Compute Cluster (TCC) driver model instead of MCDM. For details, see Enabling the TCC Driver Model for a vGPU.
