20.0-20.2 Only: Migration or suspension of a vGPU VM might fail after XID error 13

Description

If XID error 13 occurs after the restoration of a vGPU VM on VMware vSphere ESXi, the next attempt to migrate or suspend the VM might fail while the vGPU state is being saved.

This issue can occur regardless of whether the GPU uses GSP firmware.

Status

Resolved in NVIDIA vGPU software 20.3

The fix prevents the failure of migration or suspension after XID error 13. It does not prevent XID error 13 from occurring.
